Gavin D. Caddy, formerly of Ferencik Libanoff Brandt Bustamante and Williams, P.A., is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Construction law. Mr. Caddy is an accomplished trial lawyer, who also practices in the areas of commercial litigation and general civil litigation. Mr. Caddy graduated with dual degrees in History and Science and Technology from the University of New South Wales, in Sydney Australia. He received a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Miami School of Law after also attending University College London, in England. During his legal studies, he was certified by the Florida Supreme Court to intern with the Attorney General's Office, where he represented the State of Florida in a variety of civil rights cases. He was also the President of the International Law Society at the University of Miami. Mr. Caddy is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, and all of the State Courts of Florida. He is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association and Construction Law Section of the Broward Bar. Mr. Caddy is an active participant as a Judge in Nova University’s Mock Trial Competition and in the Broward Bar Association's charity event, Christmas in January. Mr. Caddy has extensive experience representing owner/developers and contractors, prosecuting or defending all types of construction lien, bond, contract and commercial litigation cases in both State and Federal Court. Mr. Caddy also has experience in drafting contracts tailored to his client's specific needs. He's represented corporations such as Citibank, Pavarini, Miller Construction, and John Deere.
